And just like that, another big-cap company is throwing off the dust when it comes to offering special rewards to its partners. Last week, on April 2, we made a list of The remaining 50 best law firms Which has yet to join the bonus cart, and one of those companies was Norton Rose, which ranked 12th in the most recent Am Law 100 ranking, bringing in a total revenue of $ 1,904,019,000 in 2019. Now, after less. From a week ago, the outlook has changed, and the staff (in some locations) are very happy.

Sources tell us that sometime yesterday, Norton Rose announced special bonuses in line with the generous Davis Polk scale. This is what it looks like in the company (note from NRF, available at The next page):

As mentioned in the company memo, only partners in California, New York, Texas, and Washington, DC will receive the bonuses shown in this graph. Partners in Denver, St. Louis and Minneapolis will receive additional “territorial” payouts. NRF is only the second company we know of that has decided to introduce regional bonus payments. (Stroke It will be “rom[ing] Local Market Factors “to partners in their Los Angeles and Miami offices.) According to one of our sources,“ employees are really angry and won’t be around any longer. Yikes.

Fellows appear to receive payments in June and December, based on 1,950 annual hours. If you have any additional details about the eligibility system for these bonuses, please contact us. Congratulations to everyone (almost).
