On Tuesday, May 4, at 6 PM EST, the Patent Committee of the New York City Bar will host a webinar with Neil Katyal, the former Acting Attorney General of the United States, to discuss how the attorney general’s opinions affect court decisions Supreme. The Solicitor General is often called the “Tenth Judge” of the Supreme Court because the court, which rarely requests anyone else’s opinion, will seek the opinion of the executive in many cases, even cases where the United States is not named a party. The conversation will cover how opinions of the Public Defender are sought, formulated, and presented, with a special focus on patent law.
Registration information is available Here.
